So How Do You Do It?

Well, it takes a lot of inspiration, time, and 4 AM crying (oops, that got oddly specific) to get it all done.
I usually start by drawing out ideas in my sketchbook. This also allows me to see how an idea would translate into a product, and if it would even work. Sometimes I start the actual design in a program like Photoshop or Illustrator, but I also like to hand draw things in my sketchbook, scan them, and vectorize them to achieve a unique, authentic look. And then I'm ready to upload the design! I'll admit, a lot of the time, they don't sell fast right away (or maybe that's because they're actually not that great), but I ultimately love designing things and watching them come to fruition. It's all worth it in the end :) |
